French versions of the SEM 25 and EM 25

Even after years of research, new facts pop up. Like for instance that the SEM 35 transceiver and the EM 25 receiver were also build in France, with French type numbers. According to my spokesman, Jacques Feyssac, these were used in AMX 30 tanks based in Germany in the French occupation forces after World War II.

TR-VP-6 would comprise of the ER-100 transceiver on mounting SG-183 with control box BC-270, with a RR-85 receiver on mounting SG-184 and again control box BC-270. In both cases, special cord KD-1289 connects the receiver/transceiver to their respective mountings. There is a BC-35 antenna matching unit as well as a LR 73 spare parts box. And all of it is plain old SEM 25 and EM 25...

Then there is mention of the TR-VP-5. A simpler set without the auxiliary receiver, comprising of the ER-100 transceiver on mounting SG-183 with control box BC-270, with special cord KD-1289 connecting the transceiver to it's mounting. There is a BC-35 antenna matching unit as wel as a LR 73 spare parts box.

Other parts mentioned: the loudspeaker HP-52.

Jacques tells me these sets were manufactured by a company called LMT - part of ITT group as was Lorenz! - but I have no further information up to now. Also, there are French manuals
